Bryce Boser Testimonial
– By Ryan Hommel
Meet Bryce Boser! Bryce is a student athlete at Black Hills State University, competing for the track and field team as a pole vaulter. Bryce is also a very talented photographer who has the opportunity to hike and camp in a lot of challenging terrains to capture the perfect photos. Both activities can lead to poor body alignment, soreness, aches and pains, which is why Bryce chooses to use chiropractic care. In his interview we talk about why he is an advocate of chiropractic care, and why he prefers Nelson Chiropractic over other clinics.
Q: Why are you an advocate of chiropractic care?
A: No matter what your view on chiropractic care might be, once you try it, it’s very hard to not get addicted to it. As an athlete, I think it really benefits you because you're moving constantly, and adjustments are a nice relief to the aches and pains that come along with that lifestyle. The availability that Nelson Chiropractic provides, and the way they treat student athletes is unmatched.
Q: What would you consider the biggest benefits of chiropractic care?
A: I’ve had multiple instances where I could barely bend over due to weight lifting. But after having a few adjustments, in just two days I was back to normal! Having that short turnaround time after an injury is huge for athletes to be able to get back into our season without missing a step.
Q: Have you felt any type of change to your level of competition since you started going to Nelson Chiropractic?
A: Yes I have, I feel a lot more open and less constricted, my joints don’t suffer as much, and I even feel more flexible. All of those things help me a lot in my line of competition, allowing me to compete to my full potential. If my body was tight, I would be at a much higher risk of injury and wouldn’t be able to compete at the level I want.
Q: What separates Nelson Chiropractic from just any chiropractic clinic?
A: Devon and Bjorn are truly just great people, along with the rest of their staff. They talk to you about how you're feeling and genuinely care about getting you better. They also explain to you the movements they are making and how to help yourself outside of getting adjusted. But the part I love the most is that it’s a family atmosphere and you feel that right away when you walk in the door. There’s no doubt that when you're at the clinic, you're their number one priority.
Q: What do you have to say to young athletes who haven't looked into chiro care yet?
A: I would say at least get an adjustment and see what happens from there. If your body is out of alignment it will always help to get adjusted. Just because you're young and you don't feel the pains of competing as much as older athletes do, doesn't mean you shouldn't stay ahead of the curve and start aligning your body early. It could change the way you compete for the rest of your life and give you that edge over everyone else.
